(Radio Management Release 1.1)

The following are the new features for Radio Management Release 1.1, which are available with the APX Family Customer Programming Software (CPS) R09.00.00:

New Radio Management Fields and Features:

In the Actions Menu added "Manage Licenses"

In the Actions Menu added "Manage Language Packs"

In the Actions Menu added "Manage Voice Announcements"

In the Actions Menu added "Manage Firmware"

In the Actions Menu added "Manage Templates"

Under Select Templates added the "In Use (Radios)" field

In the Radio View added the "Modified" and the "FLASHcode" fields

In the Job View added the "Job Type" and the "Executed Date" fields

The ability to FLASHport a radio is now possible when "Writing" a radio (see Schedule Job)

In the Schedule Job window added the "Time Zone" field

In the Device Programmer / Monitor's Setting Window added the "Authentication Method" field

In the Radio Management Control's Server Settings window, added the "Authentication Method / Type" and the "Always Remember" fields

for the RM Server added the RM Server Utility

for the RM Job Processor added the RM Job Processor Settings Window

Gang Programming & Gang FLASHport Support allows for simultaneous programming and/or simultaneous software upgrading of up to 16 radios (supported on Windows 7 via USB)

For Gang Programming and Gang FLASHport to be successful, each radio must have a unique IP Address that places it in a unique subnet.

If the radio is currently managed by RM, the IP Address can be modified from the RMC Data Profile View's - Subscriber IP Address field. The IP address change must then be scheduled as a "Write" Job to the radio.
If the radio is not currently managed by RM, the IP Address can be modified in the standalone CPS's Data Wide Subscriber IP Address field. The IP address change can then be CPS-programmed to the radio. The radio can then be Added to RM already having the needed unique IP address.
